Being a seller on Amazon is no longer about listing your products and waiting for the traffic to catch up and translate to sales. It has gone on to become a battlefield of data, competition and razor thin margins. And the sellers winning this race are tracking everything.

Demand, profit, competition, fulfilment methods, and customer sentiments. All this is further made easy with some of the top Google Chrome extensions and plugins for Amazon sellers.

But before we go on to explore the top extensions to consider as an Amazon seller, it is worth addressing the foundational tool that helps to underpin all the serious research. This is data automation.

For sellers looking to scale, track multiple products, or monitor markets automatically, a robust tool like an Amazon web scraping API becomes super essential. Instead of having to pull data manually for each product, an API allows sellers to automate everything, from price tracking to keyword monitoring, at scale and in real time. This is the kind of upgrade that transforms you from being a part time seller into a serious operator.

That being said, Chrome extensions will play a vital role in your regular selling operations on Amazon. Lightweight, yet super powerful, these plugins make data visible where it matters the most, right on Amazon’s search results and product pages.

Here is a quick breakdown of the top-performing Chrome extensions that you can’t afford not to be using.

    Jungle Scout Chrome Extension

This one is for those prioritizing speed and clarity. When you install this extension and give it the required permissions, it presents average sales, revenue, ratings, and prices for all listings on the current Amazon page. Use this overview to instantly find out how competitive or promising a niche might be.

Jungle Scout comes with the Opportunity Score, a standout feature that lets you evaluate a niche using demand and competition data. This proprietary metric adds strategic context that is particularly helpful for new sellers or those evaluating a product on a time crunch.

Review analysis is handled via an AI tool that summarizes customer sentiment, suggesting areas for product improvement. Think of it as more of a distilled approach. The profitability calculator, however, is tucked away inside the dashboard and only supports FBA.

Jungle Scout covers 10 Amazon marketplaces and includes the extension on all its subscription tiers. Although it lacks integrated supplier sourcing within the extension, it remains a solid choice for sellers focused on quick research and simplified decision-making.

    Helium 10 Chrome extension

A go-to tool for Amazon sellers, Helium 10 is a Chrome extension that does not disappoint. When you activate this plugin, it inserts a compact, data rich dashboard at the top of the Amazon search result page showing 30 day revenue, product rating units sold, average price, and the Best Seller Rank (BSR) for the entire niche

Sellers can see the number of sellers per product, fulfilment method (FBA or FBM), and category without even clicking into the listings.

    Helium 10 Chrome extension

This can significantly speed up the product validation process. Once inside a product page, the extension reveals the Listing Health Score, keyword rankings, and historical performance data across multiple Amazon marketplaces.

Helium 10 also seamlessly integrates with Alibaba to help sellers jump directly to product research and supplier discovery without even having to leave the Chrome tab. While this extension does not cover every Amazon region, it still supports 13 marketplaces (more than Jungle Scout).

Also, get access to a robust profit calculator that accounts for both FBA and FBM models to offer a more competitive view of product viability.

Overall, for sellers conducting deep competitive analysis or planning product launches, Helium 10 delivers essential insights without extra clicks.

    AMZScout Chrome Extension

AMZScout’s PRO Extension delivers one of the most competitive data sets available through a Chrome extension. Sellers can access niche scores, trending product indicators, and detailed historical graphs for price, sales, and rank without ever having to leave their search results.

Enjoy a very unique feature with AMZScout’s PRO extension. It is called the “HOT” score, which flags products experiencing recent sales spikes. You can use the HOT score to spot potential trend waves before they even have a chance to crest. Clicking into specific data points reveals deeper insights, such as profit margins, FBA fees, and rank history.

AMZScount brings a very modular approach that gives you access to specialized extensions for specific tasks like inventory tracking, keyword monitoring, and profit calculators. While this can create browser clutter, it also means you have the option to install and activate only the ones that are most relevant for you.

Another advantage with AMZScout is its pricing model. You get access to all features in a single plan and there’s also an option to buy the PRO version outright without having to worry about those pesky monthly subscription fees.

Though this one lacks a full review analysis system and inventory management tools found in Helium 10, AMZScout remains a favorite for data driven sellers.

    ZonGuru Chrome Extension

Get an extremely clean and efficient experience with features tailored to early stage sellers with the ZonGuru plugin for Google Chrome. The Niche Score quickly evaluates the demand and competition in any given product space.

There is also a Launch Budget Tool that estimates the capital required to enter a specific niche. While not always precise, it helps with strategic financial thinking before diving head on into product sourcing.

Sellers can push promising products to their ZonGuru account for deeper analysis, allowing for more detailed follow up on keywords, reviews, and sales performance.

However, this extension also lacks a review analysis tool and does not allow toggling between different Amazon marketplaces. ZonGuru gets you support for 10 marketplaces but does not go as deep as Helium 10 or AMZScout with its research.

Plus, you also get the profitability calculator for both FBA and FBM, although the FBM functionality is still in development.

Despite a few cons, none of these are deal breakers for new sellers and therefore ZonGuru can be a great low-friction starting point.

    Zoof Chrome extension

Zoof aims for clarity and ease of use, prioritizing speed over feature density. Its Opportunity Analyzer tool delivers clean summaries of total niche revenue, average sales, price and review counts. The built in filter system helps sellers isolate specific metrics to focus on products with ideal characteristics.

Although less robust than Helium 10 or AMZScout, Zoof still offers keyword data and historical graphs that show if a product’s success is seasonal or consistent. This feature alone can help avoid short lived fads that look super profitable on the surface.

However, you will need to live with the lack of FBM support with Zoof’s profit calculator. Also, there is no support for supplier sourcing or review analysis. Perhaps the biggest limitation with Zoop is its geographical scope, since you only get support for the Amazon US marketplace.

Domestic sellers looking for a fast, clean snapshot of niche health, Zoof can be very useful. But for global sellers, its limitations are a clear compromise that they have to live with.

    ProfitProtectorPro Chrome extension

ProfitProtectorPro or PPP is a different kind of extension. Instead of focusing on product research, it specializes in repricing. Here’s what it means. The extension allows sellers to set repricing rules for new products directly from their Amazon Seller account without even having to open the full ProfitProtectorPro dashboard.

It will auto-fill all the relevant product details to help sellers avoid repetitive data entry and delays in applying pricing strategy. This is especially useful when adding new SKUs that need instant competitiveness.

However, the extension does little beyond the initial repricing setup. For sellers managing large inventories, bulk methods are still going to be more efficient. The Chrome plugin is available with all ProfitProtectorPro plans and comes with a 14 day trial.

This extension appeals specifically to high-frequency sellers who rely on repricing to stay ahead in tight niches.

    SellerApp Chrome extension

SellerApp provides multiple Chrome extensions with its core tool offering product scanning, keyword tracking, and niche evaluation. A unique feature is the Market OS score that combines competition, search volume, and conversion potential into a single metric.

Sellers also benefit from a feature that highlights the number of media assets on a product listing. This is a small detail that often correlates with conversion rates. The extension syncs with the SellerApp web platform to allow users to track products and analyze data over time.

You also get a separate review extractor with SellerApp, though it lacks any AI-driven summarization features. The profitability calculator is another standalone extension that comes with support for both FBA and FBM and even comes with a fee estimation for individual and professional seller accounts.

Despite the fragmented design, SellerApp supports the widest range of Amazon marketplaces among all the others on this list and includes all its Chrome tools across every pricing tier.

Choosing the right Chrome extension stack

No single extension can cover everything for you. Sellers need to build a Chrome extension stack that fits their workflow perfectly. Each one comes with its perks and cons, so it is up to you to filter out the features you need and choose accordingly.

For serious sellers scaling up and looking to win the long game, combining smart Chrome extensions with an automated data pipeline is going to be the magic key to selling on Amazon.
