Amazon Prime Day Chromebook deals are live with some good and some that only look good. Here are a few for each budget that I’d consider or avoid, and why.

The new Asus Chromebook CM3 detachable is similar to last year’s Lenovo Duet Chromebook, but with a few improvements. You can order one now for $329.99 and save $40.
As schools have turned to virtual learning, finding a good Chromebook in stock is hard to come by. Amazon has the Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook available though and I think it’s one of the best values out there.
Searching for a Chromebook on Amazon? Watch out for the “newest” or “2020” model listings; often they are 4-year old devices with just 2 years of Chrome OS updates left.
Introduced in January, the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 is now appearing for orders and pre-orders online in three different configurations ranging from $359.99 to $409.99. First deliveries are expected by June 2 for this 13.3-inch 1080p convertible Chromebook.
Looking for the largest Chromebook with a powerful Core i5 U-series processor? Amazon has a great deal on the HP Chromebook 15 with 8GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, plus external DVD drive for $479.
The first of Lenovo’s three newest Chromebooks is available, but not directly. Amazon is offering the Lenovo Chromebook C340-15 with Pentium Gold and large 1080p display with one-day shipping.
If your only major knock against the Google Pixel Slate was the high price, you just ran out of excuses to buy one. You can get $250 off all three Pixel Slate models and get an included Pixel Slate Keyboard worth $199.
Do you have the Android version of Amazon Music installed on your Chromebook? Better check and see if you still have it: Amazon has been removing it from devices and the Play Store doesn’t show Chromebook compatibility.
One of the best Chrome OS devices to launch last year was the Asus Chromebook Flip C302 and Amazon is now selling it for $50 off. Yes, it has an older sixth-gen Core m3 chip, but it does provide solid performance.
