Asus doesn’t want the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook to have all the fun today: The company made its $999 Asus Chromebook Flip C436 available directly, although the $799 model is likely enough Chromebook for most people.

Pre-orders for the base model Asus Chromebook Flip C436 are up on Amazon, with a February 24 release date. You can also drop $999 for a configuration that is closer to the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook, due by March.
