Chrome web apps get an extra year of support on Chromebooks

After announcing the end of support for Chrome Web Apps on Chromebooks in June 2021, Google has relented a little. Now, they’ll work until June 2022; hopefully PWAs will mature and more ubiquitous by then.

After some research, I found the WiFi Printer Driver Chrome Web App and since then, I haven’t had a single printer issue. And it doesn’t require you to know the IP address of your local network printer, which saves some configuration time.
