Aside from one common complaint about the plastic hinges, the Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook is a great mid-range convertible. For the next few weeks, the 8 GB, Core i3 model is discounted to $399.
After the first Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 renders leaked online, a spec sheet with a few hardware details followed. It appears Samsung is cutting the price down to $699 by moving to a QLED panel, removing the fingerprint sensor and going with a 10th-gen Intel Core i3 chipset.
Don’t expect many visual changes on the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook2. In fact you might mistake it for the current model based on this leaked image. Look closer though and you can see some important design differences.
After seeing other countries get it, buyers in the U.S. can now purchase the fantastic Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 with 8 GB of memory. It will cost you $499 but should handle just about everything you could do on a Chromebook.
At $409, the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 with 10th-gen Core i3 is a super mid-range choice. Amazon is currently discounting it to $350 as a daily deal making this mid-ranger available near an entry-level price.
If you’ve held out for a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook, you can find it discounted by $100 today, bringing the price to $899. Just keep in mind that on Black Friday, it will be discounted by $200.
When I reviewed the Acer Chromebook Spin 713, I said you can’t get a better Chromebook for $629. Now you can: Acer is selling refurbished Spin 713 units with 2-year warranty for $559.99.
The first Chromebook running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c compute platform is the Acer Chromebook Spin 513, starting at $399. It will offer optional integrated LTE in a thin and light package.

As schools have turned to virtual learning, finding a good Chromebook in stock is hard to come by. Amazon has the Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook available though and I think it’s one of the best values out there.
