After a beta in March Google says playing Minecraft on Chromebooks is here. Chromebooks released since 2020 are supported but I found that older ones work too.
After reports of early access beta testing, Minecraft for Chromebooks officially arrives today. There are hardware requirements but they’re quite reasonable.
