What Share of Arc and Dia Daily Users Touched Core Features?
The Browser Company published both sets of figures in its May 2025 letter to Arc members. Each percentage uses that browser’s own daily active users as the base, so the Arc and Dia figures do not share a denominator.
Arc Feature Use
Of Arc’s daily active users, 5.52% used more than one Space regularly and 4.17% used Live Folders. Calendar Preview on Hover reached 0.4%.
CEO Josh Miller wrote that Arc’s day-one retention was strong, but its metrics looked closer to a specialist professional tool than a mass-market product.
Dia Feature Use
Chatting with tabs reached 40% of Dia’s daily active users, and personalization features reached 37%. At the time, Dia was in an alpha that had not yet opened beyond students.
The company also said it grew its security engineering team from one person to five while building Dia.
